Seven Simple Steps To Eradicate Fear Of Unknown

I personally experience the “Fear Of Unknown” most often and find that my clients and Service Providers also feel that way. As I love to work collaboratively, I always look for ways to simplify things, first understand, then be understood and create a Win-Win relationship. In this Video you can watch the seven simple steps that I personally use to eradicate my fear of Unknown.

Acknowledge That You Do Fear The Unknown

As you will see it all comes to becoming AWARE, acknowledging and addressing in simple and easy to follow steps:

Action Steps to Conquer Fear Of Unknown

To protect and keep us away from any danger, we are programmed either by our parents or authority figures, not to venture into the unknown. This subconscious programming shows up in our adulthood as fear of unknown and becomes a huge barrier for an entrepreneur. Some people may prefer to just brush aside the fear of unknown, without giving any attention to it and have no problem. However there is a vast majority of the population that tends to put off doing even simple things that they MUST do for their own development, just because of this eight hundred pound gorilla… “Fear of Unknown”.

Now it is your turn! I invite you to share two ways in which you addressed the fear of unknown?

right now I am too old to have any fears. However, when I am fearful, my mantra was always “they can’t eat me! or the elephant”. so onward I would go.

This is wonderful advice. I use the 5P’s, proper preparation prevents poor planning. I feel it is much better to have a plan, not just in your head, but on paper, and then follow it. It is much better than having NO plan at all.

Fear of unknown is sometimes good sometimes bad. God is also unknown to us and we do fear god it is good but in real life fear is bad. Thanks for the article on fear of unknown

Interesting post. I was just talking about the topic of “fear” with my 10 year old son yesterday as he stated that he enjoys singing but not in a group of people because he fears he might be rejected. I encouraged him that we as a people all at one time or another encounter fear and that it is a normal emotion but that it is something we can work on by planning and having a positive outlook.

I also encourage my son to dream big and never let anything or anyone get in the way of achieving his goals but if he lets fear control his ambition he may not accomplish what he aspires too become one day…as he stated to me “Mom, I’d like to make a difference in the world.” My response was, “You can my son if you believe in yourself and let fear fear itself, with God anything is possible.”

Thanks Sonia for your input. One tool that I use for myself and my family members is Emotional Freedom Technique, that involves tapping in various energy points. As your son has big dreams, I would highly recommend trying it right away, to diffuse his fear of unknown. My best wishes to you and your son.
