Never Ask This Question In An Unexpected Event

How do you react to an unexpected event? When something goes wrong OR something that has been working very well is not working NOW, do you say to yourself:
Oh! My God,why me? How can I complete this task without this thing working?
OR
This is happening for a reason. What is it that I need to learn NOW or What is it that I can do now with the gifts I have?

In this article, based upon my true story, I will explain the consequence.

“Unexpected Event And Your Questions”

Question-1

Oh! My God,why me? How can I complete this task without this thing working?

UNEXPECTED EVENT: When I initially transitioned from an employee to an entrepreneur, I did very little of self improvement work, monitoring my thoughts, listening to my inner voice, ALLOWING myself to BE myself and connect with my HIGHER/INNER/CHILD-LIKE self.At that time, instead of an Acer Notebook, I was using a Desktop and a printer. When my printer stopped working at an important/crucial time,  I have asked the question

Oh! My God,why me? How can I complete this task without this thing working?

Action

I became angry. My energy level was low and negative. I felt like a Victim. I focused on everything that was NOT working. I started saying things like…ONLY when something is important and there is a deadline, I get stuck like this etc, etc. My entire focus used to be on printer NOT working and how OTHERS are lucky unlike me.I became cynical. I never looked for solution NOR ALLOWED myself to get guidance may it be from a person OR UNKNOWN. I blamed myself for this event and never thought of using any resources/gifts that I already have.

Consequence

I became frustrated, asked my husband/children to help with an attitude of.. Why would they care so much? It is not as important to them as it is to me.I would energetically come from the point of scarcity/ingratitude/judging them BUT not accepting as they are.My printer was set right (Goal accomplished) but my journey was NOT enjoyable. Yes, it was a learning experience and I committed to CHANGE.

Question-2

This is happening for a reason. What is it that I need to learn NOW or What is it that I can do now with the gifts I have?

UNEXPECTED EVENT: Now I am using an Acer Note Book for the past couple of years for business tasks such as writing articles/blog posts, emails, scheduling Broadcasts, publishing Ezines, listening to audios and watching webinars.I start my day by listening to spiritual hymns/Affirmations.My audio stopped working. I said to myself

This is happening for a reason. What is it that I need to learn NOW or What is it that I can do now with the gifts I have?

Having worked on myself quite a bit to handle this type of unexpected event. I was very calm and stable. It did bother me, but I had tools to connect with my HIGHER self/Intuition (Inner tutor/Success team–whatever you may call). To quote a few tools, mindful inhaling and exhaling/Thanking for everything that I have right NOW/writing down my CURRENT feelings and what I WANT/Emotional Freedom Technique etc…By using these tools, my thoughts shifted from “bothering me” to “forgiving me/accepting me for who I am, regardless of whether the Acer is working  or not.The moment I forgave myself, I felt that I am more than what I appear to be.I got inspired to learn what I needed to learn. I also got the feeling that I deserve the gifts I already have and can use it guilt free ( in a “feel good” way)

Consequence

I stayed in my power and believed in myself and my ability.

How did I use my inspiration to learn what I needed to learn?
I figured out that the Speaker in my Acer was not working. I searched and located an old speaker and connected it to my Acer and it started working. It was easy and effortless.

How did I use the thought “I deserve the gifts I already have and can use it guilt free ( in a “feel good” way)”

This took some time. My son had gifted me an HP Touch pad that I never used. May be unconsciously/energetically, I gave myself the signal that I don’t deserve it and hence never paid attention…
I started using my HP pad to play games. I realized that it has audio and video and was EASY to use. I gave myself permission to LET GO of the need to struggle and ALLOW myself to get things done easily and effortlessly. Now I don’t have to turn on the Acer, connect the old Speaker, but just use the HP Touchpad, easily and effortlessly to do all the writing and listening work.

“ACTION POINTS TO HANDLE UNEXPECTED EVENTS”

1. STOP SAYING …Oh! My God,why me? How can I complete this task without this thing working?
2. When something goes wrong, say to yourself:
This is happening for a reason. What is it that I need to learn NOW or What is it that I can do now with the gifts I already have?
3. As my favorite Personal Development guru Jim Rohn said “Work on YOURSELF harder than on your job. Working on your job will make you a living. Working on yourself will make you a FORTUNE.”
Now its your turn… I invite you to share the questions that you ask yourself when an unexpected event happens, in the comments section below.
