Are you afraid of setting Money goal in your business, for fear of not achieving it?

Have you set Money goal and given up taking consistent action towards reaching the goal?

Then I invite you to try these three tips to help you take consistent inspired action towards reaching your Money Goal.

Tip#1 Write down your answers to following questions

The Money goal itself will NOT drive you to take inspired action, but what the goal means to you WILL ONLY pull you towards the goal. I know it is boring and annoying to even think of these questions, leave alone the answers. But, I recommend taking it seriously and just spend 20-30 minutes to jot down your answers to following questions related to your goal, covering important areas of your life

What would it mean to you in terms of raising belief in yourself and your ability to run your business?

What would it mean to you in terms of supporting your family?

What Would it mean to you in terms of going on a family vacation?

What would it mean to you in terms of pursuing your hobby that you put off for want of money?

What would it mean to you in terms of supporting your favorite Charity Organization

Tip#2 Make a Commitment To Yourself

Commit to yourself to

1. Be emotionally detached from the financial goal/money itself.

2. Give focused attention and energy to your answers, by reading aloud, listening to yourself and watch how you feel.

3. Track your income and expenses.

Tip#3 Invest In Each Area

When you receive your first check, consciously invest a certain portion of this money into each area of your life.

Let me demonstrate with an example of how I dealt with when I first set my Money Goal. I was forced to seek self employment and start a business, when the company I worked for, downsized. I also wanted to spend quality time with my children. When I first set my Money Goal, my answers were as below:

What would it mean to you in terms of raising belief in yourself and your ability to run your business?

This is huge for me, because, I was a hard core employee with no business experience. Hence, regardless of the amount of first check, to me it means I am capable of marketing my services, making a sale and creating revenue. If I continue to do more of what is working, become better at doing what I am doing, I can make more revenue faster and easily.

What would it mean to you in terms of supporting your family?

It was very important for me personally to support my husband by contributing a certain percentage to my children’s College education. If I can learn to monetize my skills, I will be able to keep up the commitment that is important to me and is best for my family.

So when I received my first check

To get better at what I was doing I invested in Business coaching. To do more of what was working, I invested in Systems to market my services.

I invested a certain portion in a Savings account for my children’s college education.

As much as these actions may not seem like a BIG DEAL, energetically, you have stepped up and are showing to the Universe that

1. When you set your Money goal, you knew exactly what it meant to you in every area of life

2. As and when you make the money, you are feeding/nurturing each area of life that is meaningful to you, by investing a certain portion thereof.

Guess what?

1. Universe helps you grow in each area of life that is meaningful and important to you, without being/feeling needy.

2. You enjoy the process of achieving your Money Goal, while taking consistent inspired action.

3. Even if you don’t reach your Money Goal, your actions are purpose driven, important and meaningful to you.

Now it is your turn to share your experience in reaching your Money Goal.
